Plague Inc: Evolved is a combination of high strategy and realistic simulation. Create your own pathogen and infect patient zero, your plague must learn and adapt to bring down the end of the human race. Originally Plague Inc was just a flash game but Evolved Edition includes all new features including multiplayer, user-generated content support, improved graphics, and many more features.
- Endless customization – You will be able to choose from 10 different disease types Bacteria, Bio Weapons, mind-controlled zombies, and many more. You may also select 23 unique scenarios which create many challenges for your pandemic how will you handle a new strain of swine flu or a world like in the Ice Age?
- The use of Advanced AI and real-world data and events make Plague Inc a highly authentic simulation of a world-ending pathogen. Look at your pathogen in a new way with full 3d models of your plague take a closer look at humanity’s struggle using city cams, the body scanner also highlights the full effect of your mutation organ by organ.
- Multiplayer – The World is unlucky to have two different diseases either competing or helping each other:
- Vs Mode: Step into the arena and prove your genetic dominance against your opponent, get all new evolutions, abilities, and genes to help them fight for control and destroy your opponent.
- Co-op Mode: There is enough room for two diseases in this world, to help each other infect and destroy the world together, but humanity has new tricks up its sleeves! Work closely with your partner to get brand new genes, traits, and strategies, to destroy cure labs all over the world before they eradicate you.
- Go to the lab and create your own costume scenarios by making new plague types and in-game events with the help of a plethora of sophisticated tools for user-generated content, there are over 10,000 costume scenarios for you to try out on the Steam workshop.
Reviews
Plague Inc: Evolved is a surprisingly fun game to play. While I don’t see players pumping a ton of hours into this title all at once, I can see this being a game you’d turn to If you were looking to kill an hour or so without starting up a major game. The fact that you must unlock other types of plagues and mutations by beating through the game will bring players back to widen their amount of gameplay. In a world where the fascination of a zombie outbreak is now currently huge due to mainstream media, Plague Inc: Evolved is the game for you if you want to simulate your own outbreak.
